And, if society has to decide ans we line in statist world it means that abortion is legal, as you're for give freedom to society and the people to decide.

Free abortion? For one thing the price would likely go up, not down. For another, why do you assume everyone thinks like you? Statistically more want to restrict abortion, they would condemn it. That would raise the cost. Social pressure, reputation, having to fit in the various relationships in a community to live, all these would combat the notion of free abortion. In time, no longer dependent on the government to make moral choices, society would.

Your statistics are off, warped by confirmation bias.

I have no problem with abortion in the case of rape or incest provided the person seeking the abortion can provide a copy of the police report she filed alleging those crimes.

In cases of rape or incest the person should be able to present themselves for an abortion within two-months, assuming an average time period of six weeks for the person to realize she is in fact pregnant. And she should, as stated above, be able to provide the abortion provider with a copy of the police report she filed at the time the incident occurred. It should not take any woman a few months to discover she had been raped that should be obvious, to a woman of average intelligence, at the time the crime occurred.

Health of the child? Can anyone say with 100% accuracy that a cure for what ails the child in the womb will not be forthcoming?

Unwanted pregnancies can be greatly reduced if the woman insists that the male used a condom that contains spermicide. In no case should I, as a taxpayer, be responsible for providing contraceptives to the woman unless I am the one enjoying myself with her.

One of my pet peeves (the one named Jorge) is that liberals claim to care about "the children" only when it suits a particular political position but do not care about "the children" when it comes to abortion.

You're wrong. Most of people, mainly youth is in favor. Only oldies support conservative ideologies.

As an example the recent Irish referendum of the abortion.

In another thread a lefty troll made a similar claim, statistics of various kinds were brought out to show the claim false. People's opinions are all over the map.

Of the 7 Reasons It Is Deeply Misleading To Claim Americans Support Roe v. Wade, I will focus only on one. And do so because it's another case of liberals against the disabled, the other being Ontario’s Minimum Wage Hike Has Been Disastrous, Especially for Disabled Workers.

...7. Americans Don’t Like Abortion of Disabled Children

Americans are deeply uncomfortable with the kinds of abortions, currently protected by Roe and Casey, that target the disabled. About seven in ten prenatal children thought to have Down syndrome are killed via abortion, even though people with Down’s are happier than folks without it.

Given these facts, it is no surprise that Americans hate abortion that targets people with Down syndrome. Indeed, while 84 percent of pro-lifers think aborting a child with Down’s is morally wrong, nearly half of people who identity as pro-choice feel the same way. Why wouldn’t they? In any other context, violently singling out disabled people would be a federal hate crime.

Yet an Indiana law specifically designed to protect this vulnerable population from discrimination was struck down, as we saw above, precisely because Roe/Casey requires abortion to be unrestricted before viability. Once again, this puts Roe/Casey far afield from the views of the American people....

That third poll option, tho... there's always a high psychological risk in any pregnancy.

Also.. I have to do it. *annals, not annuals.

Back on topic. I am not wholly against abortion.

I think there can be justifications and condemnations case by case, and that out of those will come society's judgment overall.

Really? Yeah, we should have a system where only 1 person decides for all, like your preferred monarchy or in a more modern name, dictatorship. If.the society wants abortion, like was in that case. Why don't you want to prevent that.

I will ignore the part of the troll. The one that goes as libertarian but is a pure conservative.

And what is wrong is the lack of knowledge of what is democracy.

I prefer anarchy. You know that. Why are you making things up?

What is wrong with direct democracy is majoritarian rule, representational democracy corrruption.
