When I graduated from law school, I was up over my Pelosi in debt. We paid $16,000 for a house in the ghetto of Cleveland (until we were robbed) and pounded the debt. It was a different time and my generation was, by and large, different. My daughters tell me their friends are graduating with 200k in debt (pharmacy school).

These colleges have massive endowments and can well afford to let these kids pay less. Harvard has an endowment valued at $1.5 MILLION per kid. They won't b/c federal loan money is so readily available. That bubble is going to hit soon.
