The ones on the scene said the bus hit the train. Here is the story, it was taking them too long to report on regular news. Only one injury, at the time I didn't know.

Once while driving home from work I saw a car rear end a school bus. Thankfully no injuries. At that time I wondered how does one miss seeing such a big object.

After reading this thread I again find myself asking how does one miss seeing such a big object.

Then I think back to the story of the Navy ship colliding with an oil tanker and again ask the same question. However I will give the Navy credit after that incident they did state that further training of naval personnel was warranted. Personally I think eye glasses would be cheaper. It was a damn oil tanker! Those things are huge. Surely someone on the ship noticed it.
