Yes, I can't develop lung cancer from smoking. If I don't have it now, and I haven't smoked for years then I can't get it from smoking.
The study is being financed through Medicare. It has to be a pulmonary specialist involved in the study. It's pretty interesting.
I know that a smoker has a greater chance of getting lung cancer but it isn't a given and non-smokers get it. How would you separate the two? Still sounds like a cost-cutting measure.

At least 25% of those who responded agree with me. In my opinion, smoking, drugs, and motorcycles which cause too many unnecessary deaths should be restricted.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
