In reflection of the gun violence

Seeing so much gun violence only makes me want to carry a gun more. I don't understand how people say "oh people are shooting people a lot so lets ban guns" and believe that's the best way to go about it. I'm sure if people were to think past their initial reaction and dig deeper they'd realize that we need to take our security into our own hands, not rely on others to protect us. The founding fathers didn't put in the second amendment for fun it, was them giving every citizen the right to uphold their own safety. If there was an immediate threat, say someone robbing your house or a school shooting, wouldn't you want a gun to protect yourself? Or would you rather do what all these other people have done at these shootings(columbine, sandy hook, batman theater, VT, ect.). which is helplessly run or hide hoping the shooter dosent target you, while waiting for the police -- ya you know, those guys with the guns that you need to come save your ass. If any of the innocent people at these shootings had guns they could've shot these crazy mofos before they were able to harm so many. Banning guns wont make you safer it'll just give insane people, who do manage to get guns, more power over the masses of unarmed civilians. I mean even if the government did ban guns, many people, mostly criminals, would still have them. Wake up people!!! stop depending on big brother to save you, and start being self-reliant!!!

Perhaps Americans do need to live their insular way for a generation or two more --- it takes a long time to uncondition attitudes . I just wish they would travel more and notice how some of the more civilised parts of the planet behave .

Remember that I warned you about throwing stones in Glass houses, this had to be on your news

And this one might hurt a little.

but if we American are going to visit the civilized world to learn about controling violent Crime, it is not going to be in the UK

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ritain-US.html

The 2nd highest violent crime rate in the world next only to Australia, and we all know that they ban most guns a few years back, does not seem to be working out for them so well either?

As a matter of fact I am twice as likely to become a victom of violent crime in your country as I am back a home?

So what civilized country do you think I should visit to learn about reducing violent crime, because I sure am not going to yours without my gun!

Some people believe that if they have a Gun, they will be safer than if they didn't.

I guess only time will tell, so for that hasn't proven to be the case.

I think that the case is already closed on that one, you are almost twice as safe, in areas that have over 50% gun ownership!!

So I think the judge and jury have already left the building!
