Id like to say this yes women breast fed forever and its natural but women used to walk around with no clothes and get forced to their knees by males at will too. Times change more's change the way we do things change.

I very very much believe in a womens right to breastfeed but they should take it upon themselves to be discreet as they can in modern society and not just plop down and pullem out just because they can
It cuts down on the number of illnesses like pneumonia when children are very young. Eventually, they will acquire immunities on their own by getting sick enough times. It also reduces the baby's risk of sudden infant death syndrome by about half.

It's also good for the mother. It causes the uterus to contract and return to its pre-birth size much more quickly, thus reducing that baby bump. There are a lot of other benefits for both mother and baby: https://www.fitpregnancy.com/baby/br.../liquid-assets

If the mother can at least do it for a little while, it's better than not at all, which is why hospitals try to encourage all mothers to at least try.

U.S. officials sought to remove language that called on governments to “protect, promote and support breastfeeding” as well as a separate section that called for governments to restrict the promotion of products that experts agree could cause harm to children.
Governments should not be restricting products... I wonder is there is more to this story.

"Caitlin Oakley, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services, told Newsweek in an emailed statement, "Recent reporting attempts to portray the U.S. position at the recent World Health Assembly as ‘anti-breastfeeding’ are patently false. The United States has a long history of supporting mothers and breastfeeding around the world and is the largest bilateral donor of such foreign assistance programs," the statement said. "The issues being debated, were not about whether one supports breastfeeding. The United States was fighting to protect women’s abilities to make the best choices for the nutrition of their babies."

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
