People misuse other terms as well, such as xenophobia and fascism. I use the correct definitions for each of the three. (xenophobia, fascism, neoconservative) And more terms that people get tripped up over.

There are correct and incorrect definitions. Neocon is one of those words where the definition can be whatever you want it to be. Whatever is convenient. Not with all, but with many.

Actually it has a real meaning unlike libtard or rethuglican.

Neoconservatives were liberals who left the democratic party in disgust over the democratic party's reaction to the Vietnam War (turning against it). They retained many of their liberal ideas outside of foreign policy where they believe the US should spread democracy, by force if needed, in order to keep the US safe.

Today Neocons can be conservative in areas outside of foreign policy, but many of the elites are like the founders of the Neocon movement.

With the ascendancy of lunatic John Bolton to the White House, the Trump administration appears to be drifting closer and closer to a disastrous war with Iran. Trump's Secretary of Defense and one of the few remaining voices of sanity, James Mattis, is increasingly focused on stopping the warmongers and chicken-hawks from embroiling the USA in yet another expensive, fruitless, and endless Middle Eastern war.

When are Americans going to demand an end to this madness? How much of our money must they waste before Americans say enough is enough? It wasn't bad enough that the US government wasted and continues to waste trillions of dollars on the war in Iraq? It wasn't bad enough that the US government destabilized the entire Middle East and unleashed ISIS on to the world? It's surreal.

War is one of our leading industries, keeps voter's minds off the dismal domestic performance of the the past few decades and lines political pockets. Vote the war mongers out.
