As a Nation can we use some other gauge for Supreme Court nominees beside Roe v. Wade?
The left keeps telling us it cannot be touched because it is "settled law" well if that is true why are they always so worried it will be overturned?
What about issues like warrant less surveillance? Has anyone really taken a good look at how many cameras they encounter each day, some placed by the police to monitor the citizens.
What about the rights of parents to protect their children from being indoctrinated with beliefs in school that the parents are opposed to? If a parent doesn't want their kid reading Heather Has Two Mommies in school the parent should have the right to make that choice not the government.
Roe v. Wade is rather far down on my list of what is really important. Yes I oppose the killing of innocent children but do we have to make that the determining factor of who sits on the Supreme Court?

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

Remember the person who sits on the Supreme Court needs to be energetic enough to work for nine months and decide 1% of the cases submitted to the Court each year. A very exhausting job.

History does not long Entrust the care of Freedom, to the Weak or Timid!!!!! Dwight D. Eisenhower ~
I don't know about everyone else, but I think this irrational melt down on the left is very funny.
With the left's reaction to this Supreme Court nomination you'd think that this guy was the most evil man who ever walked the earth.

Chris Matthews was once a serious and fairly credible political commentator. He was always a liberal Democrat, but he began his morphing into a flaming partisan hack during the Clinton years. He hasn't communicated a reasonable thought since 1992.
I dont know of anyone, even on the hard left who will credit Chris Matthews with being a great proponant for liberal ideas.
