Actually, Trump did win the election in accordance with our election laws. At some point you are going to have to come to terms with that. Good luck with that.

And yes, John McCain should resign. If he truly put his country ahead of himself as he claims, he would resign.

Greedy , power hungry, america-jilted, $#@! will never put his country ahead of himself.
We owe him for his failures.
His failures in the military and personal life.

Any man who abandons his wife after she was injured, and stuck by him for years is a pos.

Let's not forget Keating 5, either.

I don't care about his personal life. He should do the right thing now and resign. If one is unable to fulfill his obligations, he should resign and be replaced with someone who can

Since he cannot make decisions for himself his family needs to step in and encourage him to resign from the Senate so the governor of Arizona can name a replacement (hopefully not another McCain).

It has been pointed out numerous times with McCain no longer casting votes in the Senate the Republicans only have a one vote advantage (50 to 49) which means that it would only take one RINO (Susan Collins comes to mind) to sink President Trump's Supreme Court pick.

I have not recently perused the U.S. Constitution but I believe there are options available to the Senate to remove one of their members when they cease to be competent enough to perform the job. I assume the Senate is unwilling to forcibly remove McCain because they fear that would leave a "black mark" on his record. Apparently they have not realized that most of his career in the Senate left a black mark on his record.

There is not much I am inclined to thank the Obama voters for, but they did save the nation from John Boy McCain.

No need to insult a a man who refused to use his connections to get out of a POW camp before his men could. That's balls! I'm not a fan of most of his politics but I'm pretty sure "bottom half of an Annapolis class ( especially then) is pretty respectable.
However, the senate should be like any other job. If you consistently cannot fulfill your duties you should step , or in necessary, be pushed aside.

Do you really believe that story? Have any of his captors ever verified it? Perhaps it was a story created to help win elections.

He wont resign to spite trump and his family would feel the same. I dont want to see anyone suffer or die and I never wish that on anyone friend or foe. I wont be sad when John McCain is no longer a Senator.

He does not vote his heart, hes a spiteful voter, he will change his beliefs to spite someone he doesnt like or he feels slighted him.

A man that votes his concience all the time I will respect even if I dont like his votes, but a spiteful voter can kiss my ass

I respect his experience as a POW. There’s no up side in besmirching him on that account. His actions as a politician are a separate issue. As a senator, I think he’s a weasel.
