Need help with posting - quote mark and number on top of each post

Mods, please help.

On a thread I've been posting on, it's showing at the top of each post like the word quote and a number and it seems I'm posting as someone else or another poster and they are posting my posts as theirs? It's confusing...I tried logging out and logging back in but it's still there. Can you help?

The user interface on this site malfunctions sometimes. You kinda have to learn the vbulletin formatting a little bit to correct these errors. Pain in the butt, I know. Probably a missing bracket somewhere or something. Not really an easy way to explain.

The beginning of your quote will look something like this, [QUOTE=Leanne778;2832955 ] but without the space before the last bracket. The end of the quote will look like this, again, without the space before the last bracket, [/QUOTE ] hit "edit post", and correct any errors in the formatting. I'm not good at explaining this stuff. Hopefully you understand.

That is exactly what happened, and it is easy enough to do without realizing it.

Yep, and then it is only exacerbated in a back and forth exchange if not corrected.

With all the font changes and color changes, it complicates and exacerbates the ability to see what the real problem is. Act like adults folks. I remember I was 12 once and had to color in different crayons.
