In defense of our police ...

The $#@! in this video is extremely juvenile and in my opinion, inexcusable. These kids are having a lark completely at the expense of these cops in a vague situation that are just trying to do their job. If these little sh-ts actually were press, I'd report them to their editors. If they're college students, I'd tell their professors and demand from them an explanation. They are literally just having fun pushing buttons trying to aggravate inappropriate police behavior, and they are horrible little brats for doing it. If it weren't for immigrants, they'd be protesting for some other stupid $#@!. It's ridiculous.

What are these stupid little $#@!s going to be like when they're middle aged? What kind of monsters will they have for kids? Why don't boomers kick the crap out of their spoiled rotten spawn for this anarchistic $#@!? All these little lollipop lickers seem to want is attention for causing ruin.

I really don't get it, but it sure annoys me to see this. It really doesn't get any better than what we have right now, and it's the outlaw left (Democrats, progressives, liberals, junkies, rabblerousers) that is here creating probably not entirely deserved sympathy for the cops, both incubating negative opinion among police about probably normal people (despite what you see), and generally causing undue misunderstanding, and for no other reason than the perverse pleasure in doing it, and because something bad is likely to eventually happen that they can blame on normal citizens -- right now being the right.

Are these little monsters all on Soros-Clinton payroll? Grow the f--k up!

    End of rant.

As institutions, police forces have earned the ire of Americans. But instead of changing their ways, police forces are stubbornly digging in and resisting even the most modest and reasonable of reforms. In this way, police forces more resemble an occupying force than anything.
Two things awe me most, the starry sky above me and the moral law within me.

Show me an example of what you're talking about in that clip or any other clip, for that matter. 80% of the BS and all the screaming are simply for dramatic effect to make the police look like the monsters that, in fact, the demonstrators are. That should sound very, very familiar because it's exactly what Democratic politicians are doing too. It's disgusting, IMHO.

That video is pretty mild on the police side of things. Yes, those people are causing trouble and need to be dealt with. However, there is a HUGE problem with our police forces. They are paid thugs and they do NOT serve you and you pay for that. They are not hired for their intelligence or problem solving skills and escalation over de-escalation is favored in their "training". Every "problem cop" that has a suit against them never pays for damages they have caused out of their own pockets. No, you pay for that as well. The police Unions encourage corrupt behaviour.
The good cop, bad cop, not all cops argument has long since been a non-argument for me. All cops are in a very corrupt organization and the only ones that are good are the ones that see it and leave voluntarily.

Here's something I saved written by someone else and I agree wholeheartedly with their assessment. :

    Brandon RaccaDear policeman:

You're not a peace officer. Your job is not Law Enforcement. Those are euphemisms. You don't keep the peace. You routinely initiate conflicts where, otherwise, no conflict would have been. You are an agent by which your employer uses violence to enforce a monopoly on law de facto. The vast majority of the disputes that you initiate on behalf of your employer are also adjudicated by your employer, where the plaintiff, the judge, the antagonist (that's you) and the only witness (also you), all represent the same party, and, since no corpus de lecti can be produced, probably (depends on which state you're in) doesn't technically qualify to be heard according to its own "laws". Your employer is indistinguishable from a criminal cartel.

You do not serve us. When the matter of whether or not you have a duty to protect the subjects of your employer has been brought before one of your employer's courts, your employer has decided that you do not. But, when you are charged with the task of using deadly force to apprehend a person who has incurred no liability for damages to anyone, you are obligated to obey.

Everything I've written, here, is literally true. I understand that you can't believe that, but, once you strip away all the obfuscation and rationalizations, nothing else remains.

So, you see, even if you always do your job, as you believe it to be, to what you believe to be the best of your ability, you cannot be a good cop. There is no such thing as a good cop because what cops do is, by necessity of its nature, bad.

I can just see these little f--ks telling their parents that their rioting isn't any different than what Mom and Dad did back in the 60's so both parents cow to submission lest their little brats run off and join their professors' New Angolan Resistance Army, or some f---ing thing like that.

    Okay. End of rant.

Well, I didn't say they were saints. They certainly are not that. But put yourself in their position doing their job, and ask yourself if you could do it any better. Or tell me that is a job that doesn't need to be done, maybe.

I almost never use CVS anyway.

No can do. I hold myself to a higher standard than that.

Well, good for you. You're missing my point, however.

I'm not intentionally missing your point. What was it?
