No 6th grade student, let alone entire class has the ability to insult and demean with colorful creativity. Few adults do as well, however there are some out there who do it very well.

They may very well view the person to whom they are making the point with contempt. The point is that insults in no way change the actual message. If I am imparting information to someone, whether I cal him "Your Highness" or "Dumb Ass", the information is the same. Whether the receiver chooses to accept it is on him.

Find whoever told you THAT and whoop his ass. For all intensive purposes he lied to you and greatly decreased your ability to cause others to think instead of just react.
