The forum rules specify that family is off limits in the hole. One would assume that anything which is off limits in the hole is also off limits in the regular forums, even if not expressly stated.
So would the MODS please clarify? Do the rule against discussing family only apply in the hole or does it apply to the entire forum? I mean, it wouldn't make much sense if you were allowed to do something in the regular forums that you're not allowed to do in the hole.

A rule prohibiting mentioning family members would be counterproductive. It would prohibit members from talking about their spouses or children or parents or for some, even their pets.
A rule against ATTACKING family members does make sense, however, even that is not specified in the current rules. Even if it is implied, no attack was made against any member of your family.
You screwed up again. Accept it and just drive on and try to get better.
