You obviously don't know, the veterinary profession works very closely with animal control and, there is such thing as a, ' dog bite,' protocol that has to be followed.

What reporting a dog bite does, is, put both dog owners and, animal control on alert and yes, a strike goes against the dog, but, it's purpose is to protect the public..... I didn't make this stuff up, it is, factual.

Every dog owner, who's dog has bitten someone, says the same thing, " but, my dog is a sweetheart " and, it's probably true, but, dogs are animals and, act/react, as such.

I still don't understand what part of what I said, you're calling non factual, I've stated, more than once, the protocol regarding dog bites, I'm not, ' talking in circles,' I'm trying to make you understand, you're not wanting to hear/know the truth.
You are right abby today those rules were in effect, when the lab bit a kid on my property those rules werent created yet.

LAWS that ODB is required to follow. Show 'em if you got 'em.

Maybe you'd like to link the proof to this - as it pertains to my case?

Abby couldn't be more wrong in the 'statements of fact' as she has presented them... and she just keeps adding to them.

OBD is required to keep her dog under her/his...not sure which.... control...dog owners are responsible for bites, even if they occur on their property, unless the bitten person was not invited or, wasn't there performing a duty, something the dog owner initiated by ordering something required delivery such as packages.

It's different, of course, if a person is on your property uninvited, but, that doesn't appear to be the case.

I don't understand the snippiness, the attitude, I'm telling you what the protocol is for dog bites....if, the person who was bitten, does the right thing and, reports it, if he had gone for medical attention, it would have been.

Vaccinated, or not, we all know, it's not ever 100% a guarantee against diseases.

Should the guy who was bitten, later need medical care, you know, because of infection, the hospital staff is required, by law, to report.

I didn't grow up ' retarded,' I grew up knowing what the right thing to do, is......and, it isn't, sending the bitten person, a gift card.
Mmm.. so hospital staff required to report, should someone present with dog bite.

Now where is the law or statute that pertains to ODB being required to report?

I wasnt referring to your case ODB and I dont know how the law would apply.

I believe what Abby is talking about and myself is STATE laws, which your state may not have.

Florida has a large pitbull breeding community. They passed laws to report dog bites a while ago, but they are mostly not adhered to.
If the dog isnt taken to a vet how does the vet know ?

If the Police get involved thats a different thing entirely.
