There was no international equivalent of Fox or MSNBC for comparison, but they all do it in the United States. Those stupid panels. That's not news. That's where you get people saying crazy $#@! and untrue things for the purpose of debate.
    Yup, you are correct.

I remember thinking back in nineteen eighty something, the first time I ever watched CNN, how on earth do they think they will ever find enough news to fill 24 hours, 7 days a week?

The answer is that they never did. That has always been the crux of the problem with 24/7 news channels.

Back then, ABC NBC and CBS had a half hour in the evening for news that might have been expanded to one hour, don't recall, with another half hour for local news at ten pm, but that was about it unless there was some major event somewhere, like another Kennedy getting shot.

Instead of derailing themselves into lala land on the course they've taken, they should one day just say to their loyal and dedicated audience -- and anyone who still watches CNN is definitely all that, among other things -- "CNN has blahblahblah and become so blahblahblah, and is now so totally blahblahblah that, out of our deep respect for our viewers (LOL), we've chosen to reduce our news programs to six hours a day. Beginning tomorrow, therefore, CNN will be off the air 18 hours a day blahblablah ..."

Viewership would skyrocket. I'd bet common sense's $#@! hat on that.

This is why a CNN or CBC can herd so may sheep. Someone so easily convinced as Common Sense.

I also don't see them as some agenda driven mouthpiece of the deep state hellbent on destroying Trump. Simply reporting what Trump says is damming enough.

...but again, I do find it funny when people criticize CNN yet take outlets like Townhall at their word and ignore the fact that they themselves are biased. I'd argue even more so that the mainstream media.

I don't actually watch CNN unless there is some large breaking event.

Id rather turn to Reuters, the CBC, the BBC, the AP and the Economist.
I am not going to run around AGAIN and find proof of CNNS bias.

They have had several reporters including PRODUCERS fired for presenting fake news, news that was totally false. Of course when they get caught distorting or putting out fake news, they blame it on it wasnt properly vetted or the source.

CNN across the board from its commentary to its anchors HATE donald trump make no bones about and are so driven to denigrate him and reduce his popularity that they are LYING

I do. I have watched some (very little) of that station. I watch very very little news. I work too much (I'm at the office now). They had this pretty young brunette who was foaming at the mouth over twisting her report into how this "got" Trump. It go so bad that I said something to her on twitter about how did she get 1+1=15
