The biggest threat to America is its own corrupt government, especially the intelligence agencies. They are the ones trying to destroy democracy in America, not Russia.

I agree, but this isn't going to change it. It's only going to result in America looking weak and foolish. The housecleaning needs to begin where the corruption starts. The intelligence agencies (particularly the CIA) are just a symptom, they aren't the disease.

How does telling the truth make America look weak and foolish?

America is the world leader, but has incompetent intelligence agents who must be like inspector Clouseau? They may be bent, but they aren't stupid. Much of the investigation has been by the FBI. They are not the CIA. They don't just manufacture evidence.

That the Russian FSB didn't try to interfere in the US election process is as likely as the CIA not having meddled in the Middle East. It's what they do and have been doing for the last 60 odd years. It's a continuation of spy vs spy. Both the CIA and the FSB do what they can to thwart each other's countries. The reasons have changed - now it's all about economics, not communism. Scratch that - it was probably always ultimately about money. It's west vs east and who controls all the marbles. Putin has dreams of creating an eastern trading block to rival the west, except the eastern trading block won't be tied to the IMF and World Bank et al and won't use fiat currency. I wonder whose currency would reign supreme???

Putin wanted Hillary in office like he wanted a hole in his head. She would have just as soon nuked Russia but probably would have settled for having thousands of troops in the Ukraine breathing down Putin's neck and occupied Syria to boot. Needless to say, more proxy wars.

What Trump is saying makes him look like a fool and by extension, the nation. Putin may not be guilty of a number of the activities that he is being accused of but this isn't one of them.

    That would make it unanimous.

On what do you base this fanciful opinion?

@Ethereal and I don't often agree on the details , but this is one of those times where we do.

For someone who hates Hillary, you don't seem to know much about her. She's a warhawk and she hates Russia as a matter of principle. The Ukraine would have been a great place to give Russia grief and Syria would have just been too tempting.
