This City Has the Worst Bed Bug Infestation in America. Taking first place on the list for the second year in a row was Baltimore, followed closely by neighboring Washington, D.C. Chicago, Los Angeles, Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, and Dallas all made the top ten.

I have defended a few national hotel chains and they are finding it nearly impossible to combat this. When I go to a hotel, nothing goes on the floor, it all goes on the metal luggage rack, etc. Keep in mind that bed bugs are not a sanitation or cleanliness issue, which is why we can be found in no- to five-star hotels. Other tips: Don’t put your clothing or luggage directly on the bed (if bed bugs are on the bed, we can easily crawl in) and use metal luggage racks (we’re not good at climbing metal surfaces).

Nope. Since they live indoors they like all climates, kind of like $#@!roaches, only harder to kill.

Neither have I, but I know people who have. Not pleasant. They take big bites ...often.

Me either and you dont want one, we were told a story by a guy who bought a very upscale house and it was infested with bedbugs. House was 3 yrs old he ripped all the carpet out of it and had the place professionally exterminated by bed bug specialists and put down tile and hardwood flooring.
