Steve Balmer, ex-Microsoft, is building the Stratolauncher, the biggest, with a wingspan of a football field:
It'll be used to launch satellites.

Remember, 'Hughes Air West?' bright yellow planes, I would see them, occasionally, when I lived in Henderson NV.
