    Trump is too dumb to even know what Fascism is aside from trying to do fascism. What we are approaching as money and deep pockets control the message is closer to a plutocracy. But that has been happening for a long time, with fits and starts and scotus support, and even constitutional support. Read bold etc if you doubt, its been going on a long time and many Americans see it as normal.

    The answer is simple and has to do with the fact that law is not anything like science — and that what the Supreme Court does has little to do with the dispassionate application of clear laws to clear facts.

    I'm willing to concede that there is an ugly side to the left and it's manifested in totalitarian communism. The ugly side of the right is totalitarian fascism. Those are just facts....regardless of fictional spectrums.

    I find it bizarre that you try to assign anything negative to the left and everything good to the right.
    The American right is hostile to fascism. Hence WW2.

    No. FDR was a socialist.
    Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

    Hitler did his trials too! First, he gassed the mental retards and misfits in 1939 to see how folks would react. Some did, but folks believed in Eugenics which was a way to "cleanse the race" By 1943, there were hundreds of death camps and work camps.

    Its the 'boiling frog syndrome'.Incermentalism. Slowly turn up the heat in the pot, so the frogs are unaware that they are being boiled to death. One bad act leads to another as people are desensitized to immoral acts. When you demonize people, you dehumanize them, making it easier to destroy the "useless eaters' and vermin.

    Now don't say it isn't happening here, because IT IS!

    No, FDR is was an American for whom fascism was utterly alien, scary and had to be bombed out of existence.

    I think there are dozens of valid political spectrums- I majored in poli-sci in undergrad.

    I have repeatedly said that when I use the political spectrum, for ease of discussion it is

    L=far left, total government control.

    Lessen government control as you move right.

    To zero government control at the extreme right.

    I do not follow the Renaissance French model that most people follow today.
