Its the 'boiling frog syndrome'.Incermentalism. Slowly turn up the heat in the pot, so the frogs are unaware that they are being boiled to death. One bad act leads to another as people are desensitized to immoral acts. When you demonize people, you dehumanize them, making it easier to destroy the "useless eaters' and vermin.

That's out there. Trump is incompetent, a charlatan, a buffoon, a fear monger and a cheap hood...but if he brought on fascism, it would be accidental.

There's not much difference between claiming Trump is ushering in fascism than claiming there is a deep state conspiracy against him.

Ok. Why is it that you implied the right went to war against fascism? Didn't all of America go to war?

The US (Dems and Reps) also fought wars (hot and cold) against communism.

Of course, there is. The first is a goofy falsehood. The second is true.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I do not follow the Renaissance French model that most people follow today.
Regardless, fascism is alien to our political experience. Fascism happened in Europe between 1910s and 1945. Note tense.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Yor side always held a bit back. Fascism and Communism were often found to be a desirable path forward for Democrats.

Today the Democratic party embraces Karl Marx without using his name.

The topic is the American right and it's supposed affinity with fascism. Was that a serious question? I fear it was.

Yes, they did. That's because Western liberals wouldn't tolerate competing systems.

Not to defend Trump, who I did not vote for and never would since he claims to be a republican, but there is no doubt that there is a deep state. And that this deep state is not out to get Trump.

So is the political spectrum innacurate?

What specific model do you follow?

Some of that bled over to the US if you agree with Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg.

And the difference between this and claims of Trump's fascism is that "deep state" is at least plausible. The other is like saying you saw a Brontosaurus.
