If I were a team owner I certainly would want to hold back my better players because of racial reasons. After all, I am not really interested in winning games, I'm interested in discriminating against my players.

Maybe you can point to one instance where I referred to hispanics as white? I hope you are not conflating the term white hispanic as such, because that would make you look ignorant. White is a race, hispanic/latino is an ethnicity.
Now you know, and that's half the battle.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”
- Jefferson Davis
Blacks refer to themselves as white too, at least until they get elected to the Presidency or some other office. Then they're all-out black.
And that absolutely does underscore their racist mindset.
Is Segregation At Play In Professional Sports?
Only in the NHL.
Imagine what would happen to pro sports if title 10 and eeo were applied to them universally. Women would have to be allowed to play in the NFL. There would have to be more white running backs than black to fairly represent their number percentage in the general population.
I think the NFL is a perfect example of how things should be done across the board in all employment, private and public sector and sports. There are probably quite a few people who have as much or maybe even more physical talent to play at many positions in the NFL who aren't there. Some don't want to be. Some aren't smart enough. Some might be smart enough but don't have the mental discipline required. NFL teams try to get the best of the best to play at all positions. If that means the majority of them are black then so be it.The best of the best. 99.9% of the time the coaches don't mollycoddle players. If they don't or can't play at the level the team wants they get less playing time in favor of a player who does it better or they get benched or cut from the team. If they are stellar players they get paid the big bucks. For the most part all the players are at least intelligent enough to remember and execute a game plan. The ones who can't don't get to play. My Broncos have a QB who has enough raw talent to be a superstar QB. Paxton Lynch. He hasn't yet shown the ability to remember what he's supposed to do and his attention span has been questioned. If he doesn't show a lot of improvement this year he will probably be history. That's the way it should be everywhere. If you can't compete and do what is expected of you then you get the low paying jobs and make diddlysquat. Employers should be looking for the best of the best with no concern about race or anything like that. Parents and schools should prepare their children with the basics they need to exploit their individual talents or desires when they reach maturity.
