    I got ripped off

I went out to sit on the deck with a glass of wine. I'm looking out at my ski boat secured to my mooring buoy. The tide had the boat at an angle so I couldn't see the whole boat. It looked to me to be floating differently. So I thought I better go check it out.

It turns out that someone stole my outboard motor sometime last night or the night before.

Now I had to call the police, get a police report so I can turn it in to my insurance company and replace the motor. . It's going to take at least two weeks to replace the motor.

    That sucks.

I've had two outboards stolen off our tin boat in the last five years. They aren't cheap.

Every once in a while, an act of thievery becomes a public service.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

That's lousy when people do things like that. I hope insurance covers the entire costs and even better, I hope they catch who did it and throw the book at them.

How would that be a public service?

I had to call the police to get a police report for the insurance company. They recorded the serial number. When the thief takes in in for service, it will be discovered.

Insurance isn't covering the entire cost. The replacement engine is going to cost me $500.00.

This weekend is my town festival, Whaling Days.
