U.s. Considering military options to keep strait of hormuz open

U.S. CONSIDERING MILITARY OPTIONS TO KEEP STRAIT OF HORMUZ OPEN

An interesting article from the Jerusalem Post.

he US is considering military options should Iran decide to close the strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route for oil produced in the Middle East, reportedMaariv on Saturday.

Located between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, it is the only sea passage from the Persian Gulf to the open sea, with roughly one fifth of the petroleum on the planet passing through it.
It seems that the plan would not rely on US troops (although I assume US NAV Air from the 5th fleet would take out most major targets.

Look at the picture with the Iranian soldier- you can see how narrow parts of the Straights are.

The US has always considered military options to hold the Strait of Hormuz open.

The War of 1812 established a foundational principle of the United States Navy: Freedom of the seas.

The military option for keeping Hormuz open is easy. Stand well offshore with a carrier task force and eliminate Iran from the community of nations that have bricks touching each other.
    Freedom Requires Obstinance.

We the People DID NOT vote in a majority Rodent Congress, they stole it via election fraud.

The US Navy would likely be satisfied with destroying Iran's Navy and Air Force if it decides to show up.

Oh, the Strait of Hormuz is so narrow they'd have to eliminate ground-based artillery from harassing watercraft. Would definitely require US Marine Corps involvement.

And if we're going to make that effort, there's just no reason not to march into Tehran and get our money back that Obama wasted.

Why, so they can attack us when our backs are turned, like they do every time we try to pretend they're reliable?

    No.

If the US goes into Iran, it should be with the goal of ending that land's existence as a country. Destroy all infrastructure, including irrigation and water wells, destroy all oil resources, destroy all bridges, power plants, hospitals, radio/tv/satellite assets, destroy all their military technology, especially their centrifuges, seed all their croplands with radioactive salts, do what is necessary to erase the myth that Persia still exists, by destroying everything that used to be where Persia was.

    Be thorough.

Be like the Sea Bear taking care of Squidward. Say "enough" and say "now you know what we meant when we said 'enough'".

Do not be merciful. They do not understand and will again treat it as weakness.

Just kill them and have it finally be over.
