How can a person be happy if they find fault with everything around them every day, or find fault in anything anyone says everyday, and are made to be totally unhappy when someone doesnt agree with what they say is the truth or when they wake up from a dream and suddenly realize Trump is still their President

As is usual with these "let me tell you why liberals are awful people" threads, the premise is flawed.

Conservatives aren't more satisfied with life. As the link says, conservatives _say_ they're more satisfied with life. Those are totally different things. That's why self-reported studies have to be taken with a big grain of salt, as the psychologist in the link does, because different groups have differing degrees of honesty.

By conservative logic:

All Good Christians are happy.
If someone isn't happy, they're not a good Christian.
I am obviously a Good Christian, so I must be happy.
Thus, I'll say how happy I am, even if I'm not. Maybe I'll even make myself believe it.

Liberals more often lack that motive to lie, hence they lie less often about the topic.

If you want to know who's satisfied, watch how they act. Are they calm, serene and confident, like the liberals here? That's a big clue.

I'm satisfied with my life. It has had its ups and downs but here I am, retired and living as well as I ever did. I made it through life with no help from liberals. I see a better nation today than when I was a kid. Liberals will never be happy since they need problems to solve to explain its existence.

A quick look around the board, and the self identified conservatives do not express themselves in a manner that is consistent with the OP stating they find life more meaningful. If anything, they seem to be constantly angry over everything, and that’s not even including the past eight years...
