Post Use and Care of the Revolver, By the US Post Office Dept, 1959.

Sure it was boring back in the day, but at least you could walk down the street in relative safety and without the authorities spying on you.

Return with us now to those unthrilling days of yesteryear ... back to the days when people didn't keep their curtains closed and didn't lock their doors, let alone wire their homes with surveillance and alarm systems secured behind steel doors with double dead bolts, and didn't shove hands up your bum at the airport.

What's with the @Lummy? Is that like, I'm telling on you?

My opinion of you is about the same as my opinion of Hitler. You are on ignore because if I told you what I thought of you, I would be kicked off this board. Take that to heart, at least as long as it's beating.

For your information, you stupid $#@!, clones of pistols probably are not antique. What you mean by "your antique Colt Navy clones" is "your clones of antique Navy Colts".

I don't have any such firearms, but you really are awfully cute in your asinine pretensions.

Now, excuse me while I go puke your memory away.

I like revolvers. I have several. My wife has several.

My newest one is a Smith and Wesson 625 Mountain Gun chambered in .45 ACP. Normally I wouldn't get an engraved commemorative gun, but the deal on this one was too good to pass up. It is out of Smith's Performance Center and is as smooth as glass.

I was teaching a defensive handgun class on the range over the weekend and that was the one I used to demonstrate revolvers.

My wife's favorite revolver is a Smith and Wesson Model 15 Combat Masterpiece. It was a gift from a client and is arguably the best .38 revolver ever produced.

My personal favorite wheelgun is my Ruger Security Six. I got it in 1977 and probably won't ever get rid of it.

These are all stock photos, by the way. I only have one revolver with Pachmayr grips and that is a Smith and Wesson Model 66. I actually prefer Hogue grips. The Mountain Gun in the first photo is pretty much identical to mine. Smith made 500 of them. I really don't think of it as a commemorative gun and use it like I would any other good revolver.

I have been a PI for almost 25 years. I own and operate a private security and investigations company. I also own a firearms business specializing in training. We do firearms transfers, but mostly, we teach... handgun, shotgun, patrol rifle, and precision rifle.

    I have a S&W Model 28-1.
    The Highway Patrolman.

    Good gun.

I've been offered $700 for it. Not enough.
