Folks, they are entitled to due process. I didn't read the link, but once they hit our soil, they are entitled to due process.
Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect. -- Woody Hayes
I agree. However, the Justice Department has the legal authority (contained in the immigration legislation previously passed and signed into law) to determine the ground upon which someone can be granted asylum. They have decided that threats of gang violence is not grounds for asylum. It does not matter if the judge disagrees with the AG (Justice Department). The law gives them the authority to determine the valid reasons for asylum and the Judge does not have Constitutional power to unilaterally change the law.
Personally, I would like to see the US House start impeachment proceedings against any judge that attempts to change existing law from the bench. I think once judges start losing their cushy jobs for overstepping their authority you will see much less law writing from the bench.

What is due process for an illegal alien who falsely claims asylum? It should be a simple hearing followed by deportation. We should not have to pay a single cent to house, feed and provide lawyers to illegal aliens. If you want to do it for free, be my guest.
Don't waste court time. Don't waste our time.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.
