I have checked everywhere I store my $#@!s, but apparently I have completely run out (at least as far as this issue is concerned). I read an article that implied ESPN may have stumbled on a solution, they simply won't broadcast the anthem on MNF, maybe not the best solution, but it should save some posteriors from becoming chafed...

That isn't going to cut it. The NFL depends on tv money; tv depends on ratings; as long as this issue lasts they will all lose on it. It's too late to ignore it.

If the networks stop showing the kneeling players, they will not be getting the attention they've been seeking. This might force the protesting players into promoting their cause in the appropriate forum.
