"Southern", as used in this section, refers to members of Congress from the eleven states that made up the Confederate States of America in the American Civil War. "Northern" refers to members from the other 39 states.

    The original House version:

    Southern Democrats: 7-87 (7-93%)
    Southern Republicans: 0-10 (0-100%)
    Northern Democrats: 145-9 (94-6%)
    Northern Republicans: 138-24 (85-15%)

    The Senate version:
Southern Democrats: 1-20 (5-95%) (only Ralph Yarborough of Texas voted in favor)
Southern Republicans: 0-1 (0-100%) (John Tower of Texas)
Northern Democrats: 45-1 (98-2%) (only Robert Byrd of West Virginia voted against)
    Northern Republicans: 27-5 (84-16%)

Mods need to make this a sticky so that the hacks stop trying to make the obvious seem like alternative facts.

So that would be...Al Bore Senior who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964, just like Al Bore Jooonyor did everything he could to suppress black freedom when he corrupted the Senate, right?
    Freedom Requires Obstinance.

We the People DID NOT vote in a majority Rodent Congress, they stole it via election fraud.

You almost made a coherent sentence, almost.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

    Still irrelevant.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Have you read them? I have recently. They don't seem as good today as when I first read them forty years ago.

It is a shame you feel the need to lie. But it is what it is.

So then you believe the fable that the Demos who finally voted for the Civil Rights act of 64.....which they failed to do in 57 and 1960. Wherein those acts mostly dealt with voting. Now were all of a sudden for Minorites and women? The Northern Demos knew they had to get minorities to vote for them or there was no way for them to win elections.

This did not change their ideology of Whites running the government and their party.

Nobody cares about a bunch of socially autistic conservative rejects that attempt to rewrite history by saying Democrats this or Democrats that, when it was not about party affiliation but ideology.

It must be hard to attempt to function in society when you're that stupid, but you seem to keep trying...
I don't have any trouble functioning in society. I wouldn't want to function in your society. You can rant but you have no real talent or knowledge of anything of interest. I'd think if you did we'd have seen some evidence of it.

Umm, the rest of the country had 23, not 39. That's a fact. See what a high school education can do for you?
