The definition still hasn't changed, only people's interpretations.
It's confusing as all hell, America has become a huge bar fight, fists are flying in all directions, misdirected and ill-intended.
But here it is, black and white. Let's call a spade a spade for Christs sake, okay? Some solidity, PLEASE.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservatism
You see? They are not even really opposing political ideas. Each term simply emphasizes one point in policy more than another, but neither officially rejects the other.
I don't give a shit about American liberalism or American conservatism, those are only excuses for people to keep their enemies. It weakens us all. For anybody to continue to argue the intelligence, patriotism, intent or worthiness of one idealism over another from here on out is complete bullshit. You are no better than your fellow citizen, we're all free, we all have a say, and that's the end of it.
I don't want none of that "WIKIPEDIA IS A LIBERAL TOOL" bullshit either. If you can find a source less partial, then display it.
