I think I read about this on AVClub...didnt realize it was already out.

Not a huge fan of the Foo but Grohl is all right...

It's epic. It's so much more than just Dave Grohl.

Here's a video of Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor, and Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age playing their composition "Mantra".

What is it with Trent and rebellious young men?

I don't know. The man is a genius. He inspires people. I've even heard straight men on at least two occasions tell me they would have sex with Trent Reznor. I don't think he is attractive at all, but his music moves me, and his ambition inspires me. He works his ass off.

I would not have sex with Trent Reznor.

This is a live recording, it's not the finished product. The guitar played here is only a bass, and I can hear that pretty good. Trent puts some guitar on it later, but it's more of a sound-scape effect, and not at all a recognizable guitar.

I agree, all three musicians have made better music. The point of the movie is not about making an epic, though. It's about musicianship and collaboration.
