Munchies make me fat. It's the peanut butter. Get a little weed, and first thing you know, I'm hitting the peanut butter like ice-cream.

Then poof, one day the weed is gone, and you are stuck with 10-20 lbs of lard to drop.

And now, way to old to fool with meth.

KC

To be honest I have never heard any decent arguments against decriminalization. Most people I know will say something like "it's wrong" or tell some sort fo story about someone who they knew who smoked pot and was a totally irresponsible parent, but neither of those really presents a strong argument for why it should be a criminal offense.

Even if it does give you the munchies it's still better than going into work with a hangover after a night of drinking.

I wish I did have some good weed.

Basically quit it, I have a girlfriend that doesn't, she sorta gave up cigarettes for me, and as she is very much more intelligent than I am, I don't want to smoke weed around her and screw it up being dumb.

I will take a toke if easily available, but, it isn't and I don't go to much trouble for it these days.

Will accept care packages though.

I read something recently that said the Southern states weren't the most obese, it was just that they answered the polling truthfully compared to other parts of the U.S.

true. but now they're finding that even the diet sodas may contribute to weight gain.

A new 14-year study of 66,118 women (supported by many other previous studies) found that the opposite seems to be true. Diet drinks may be worse than sugar-sweetened drinks, which are worse than fruit juices (but only fresh-squeezed fruit juices). The study, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/early/2013/01/30/ajcn.112.050997), discovered some frightening facts that should make us all swear off diet drinks and products.
Diet sodas raised the risk of diabetes more than sugar-sweetened sodas!
Women who drank one 12-ounce diet soda had a 33 percent increased risk of Type 2 diabetes, and women who drank one 20-ounce soda had a 66 percent increased risk.
Women who drank diet sodas drank twice as much as those who drank sugar-sweetened sodas because artificial sweeteners are more addictive and are hundreds to thousands of times sweeter than regular sugar.
The average diet soda drinker consumes three diet drinks a day.

I think many young people have never learned how to cook. They were raised on pre-packaged or fast food and are simply addicted to high glycemic products.

I live with two friends in my house and one only cooks rarely. When I make meatballs, for example, there is a lot of sauce left over. I can't eat it all so I tell this guy the day I make it that it's in the fridge. Feel free to dig in. Simple right? Boil some pasta and throw sauce over it. No, it's Taco Bell and McD's. How the F is that easier? It's garbage, it costs more, and you have to go get it.

Amen. There's a reason why college campuses warn us about the "freshman 15," the fifteen pounds most kids gain when they first go off to college. We're not used to cooking for ourselves, and having some of our own money and places to spend it for already cooked food seems like a pretty good bargain.

I don't dislike lamb but I'm kind of traditional with this dish (i.e. beef, pork, and veal if I feel like spending money on veal).

People don't appreciate being told what is good for them. One day, hopefully, they will realize it for themselves, before they begin to suffer from arterial sclerosis.
