The Pakistani government has given the US fifteen days to vacate an airfield in Balochistan province after an alleged cross-border attack which killed at least 24 Pakistani soldiers.
The incident prompted Pakistan to summon the US ambassador in Islamabad, lodge a protest with NATO, and shut a vital supply route for NATO troops fighting in Afghanistan.

The Pakistani government also gave the US fifteen days to vacate Shamsi air base.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Defence Secretary Leon Panetta in a joint statement on Saturday said they had each spoken to their Pakistani counterparts to express their condolences for the loss of life and expressed their full support for "NATO's intention to investigate immediately."

An increase in US drone strikes on armed groups in the last few years has also irritated Islamabad, which says the campaign kills more Pakistani civilians in the border area than fighters.
Washington disputes that, but declines to discuss the drone campaign in detail.

In a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar said attacks like Saturday's were "totally unacceptable" violations of international law and Pakistani sovereignity.....snip~

Thing just took a turn for the Worse. As you will see why with the upcoming links.

Pakistani Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.....

The commander of the Pakistan's army has ordered the country's military to firmly respond to 'irresponsible' NATO attacks on the country's territory.

General Kayani ordered that the Pakistani forces make necessary arrangements for retaliatory measures, should the Western military alliance repeat such offensives.

Islamabad also closed NATO supply routes into landlocked Afghanistan.....snip~

'NATO helicopters acted in self-defence while killing Pak troops'From ANI

Washington, Nov 27: An attack by NATO aircraft on Pakistani troops that killed up to 28 soldiers was an act of self-defence, a report has claimed.

A media report quoted a western official, as saying that a joint U.S. and Afghan force working in the mountainous Afghan frontier province of Kunar came under attack in the early hours of Saturday, adding that the NATO helicopters and jets returned fire by targeting Pakistani positions with heavy weapons.....snip~

IMO I think the Pakis fired upon us. Last time they used the excuse they fired at the planes to let them know where they were. Could it be the Pakis are willing to go to War with us thinking they have some sort of advantage over us.

Remember Back in July we Suspended 1/3rd of the Aid we were sending the Pakis.....

The United States is suspending $800 million in military aid to Pakistan, White House chief of staff William Daley said today.

The Pakistani relationship is difficult, but it must be made to work over time," Daley said on ABC's This Week With Christiane Amanpour. "But until we get through these difficulties, we'll hold back some of the money that the American taxpayers have committed to give.
The $800 million suspension represents a little more than one-third of the $2 billion-plus in annual U.S. security assistance to Pakistan.

In more recent days, Pakistan has expelled U.S. military trainers; U.S. officials have also accused Pakistan of exposing the names of U.S. informants engaged in counterterrorism missions.....snip~

Unidentified gunmen have attacked a NATO oil tanker carrying fuel for US-led forces in Afghanistan and set it ablaze in Pakistan's northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Press TV reports.

The armed men opened fire on the tanker near Tedi Bazar area of Jamrud Tehsil in the province on Saturday. The driver of the vehicle (http://thepoliticalforums.com/#) was injured in the incident.

The assailants later fled the scene.

Militants in the rugged tribal areas have staged violent attacks in recent months, torching hundreds of NATO vehicles and containers destined for foreign troops in Afghanistan.....snip~

Exactly! This is what I was saying in the other thread, we shouldn't jump to the conclusion like some were that NATO was at fault in that exchange.

This whole situation is melting down now.

Now you see eh brutha.....which is why I hurried to get the shit up. Especially with all the Info coming Out on Syria and The Rebels in Turkey. Plus the Attack on the Baath party HQ this morning. Pakistan has closed more than one Route this time. We should have protected Bhutto when she was making her bid for the leadership. We didn't and then they killed her. She was a whole lot more favorable to us than these clowns in Pakistan now.

It's simple Pakistan needs to make military moves on the Militants it knows it has inside Pakistan. They have also arrested a couple of CIA ops. Compromised a CIA fronthouse. Everything they are doing now is leading to a confrontation.

In one sense I would like to show the Pakis just how ineffective their Air Force is. Then how truly their Armed forces are completely Inadequate to make any moves in the Big Picture. Wherein We need someone vocal. Someone who won't put up with any Pakis Shit. Tell them like it is. You got nukes and it's real simple. U fuck-up We will wipe your azz off the planet and give India Your land after say 100 yrs.

The American taxpayers committed to what?

Yeah I don't get that and thats what Daley said on ABC to Amanpour..... So those Vciewers should have been all over that shiznit. Looks to me like the Neo-Cons and Neo-libs may have committed that money. Cuz I am quite sure if you were to ask people str-8 up. They would be saying.....Hell No! Don't give them nothing.

Also 2.1 billion Annually for how many years? At least a minimum of 12 that I can think of. Both patires are lieing to our faces on how much money is in Foreign Affairs! Militarily, NGO's and NFP's.
