super. Could be coming south to me.

Hopefully not! I'm hoping the harsh Northern climate will keep them at bay at least. Especially because...Hops...

You should know of this one too.

Garlic Mustard Weed. Each plant can put out 15,000 seeds a season. WHerever it grows it emits a chemical that kills other indigenous vegetation. Bugs won't eat it. ANimals won't eat it. YOU can eat it if you catch the leaves young but that won't stop the distribution. Comes from Asia and Europe too. If you have it...get rid of it. It is a noxious weed and takes over northeastern forrests. Devastating.

If you start puling it out it will be 5 years before you can be sure you have gotten rid of it.

Oh Shit!

They will devastate California's Grape industry:

Californians have been cultivating grapes for more than two centuries. Today, 99 percent of U.S. table grapes are produced in California's warm, dry climate that is ideal for grape growing. With 80 grape varieties grown, California grapes come in three colors—green, red, and black—and are in season from May through January.

It appears they are an Eastern infestation for the moment, although the Wiki link is from 2018...

Not always, we only call them "invasive" when we don't like them. for example we never hear of the "Invasive Brown Trout"
