A positive test for COVID-19 reveals little about how sick or contagious the patient might be.
Health officials in Florida recognize this, and the state has taken the important step of requiring labs to include what’s called a “cycle threshold” on all positive test reports.
A positive result sets in motion a long and inconvenient chain of events. The patient and his or her family members are required to drop everything and quarantine. They must inform all of those with whom they’ve had recent contact, some of whom may be forced to quarantine as well.A positive test for COVID-19 reveals little about how sick or contagious the patient might be.

When one considers the large numbers of Americans testing positive every day, many of whom are asymptomatic (https://www.westernjournal.com/rare-people-without-symptoms-spread-covid-19/?ff_source=Email&ff_medium=newsletter-WJ&ff_campaign=dailyam&ff_content=western-journal), the question becomes whether all of this trouble is really necessary.

People also question the accuracy of the test results. A couple of weeks ago, CNBC reported (https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/13/musk-says-took-four-covid-19-tests-two-were-positive-two-negative.html) that Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, took four COVID-19 tests on one day. Two came back positive and two were negative.

Once again I drove past the local Urgent Care and a line of well over a hundred people around the entire building.

But that has Nothing to do with the positive testing rate through the roof............:rolleyes20:

This is why you people are wrong all the time.

Cognitive error, you're extrapolating bits and pieces of data into the whole. You're relying on fragmented information, second hand not knowing the story.

I really don't care, feel free to live your life with your head in the sand but it's a sight to see so much blatant ignorance.

Yeah that was Houston and all their Medical Hospitals. Then here in Chicago ER, Doctors can tell you they have seen less people this year than last year. That is with the Wuhu raging. ICUs here in Chicago with this second surge says its nothing like it was back in April and March with a 97% capacity rate. Now they are barely hitting 80%. Yet the deviates are hitting the panic button. Thankful that the Lame Stream media isnt even trying to discover the facts and the truth.

Like that Houston doctor pointed out. People coming in with the Wuhu, the majority are not serious and sent home in a day. No beds taken up. Thats not to say they havent got people who needed Oxygen and were there for an overnight and sent home the next morning.

Prager makes the leftness look like idiots and those like Oblivious. Even worse than a leftist. Patsies always end up looking worse.
