View Full Version : Joe Biden's Chief-of-Staff's words

Joe Biden's Deputy Chief-of-Staff-to-be, Jen O'Malley, just referred to those of the other party as "those f***ing Republicans."

Since Joe Biden has been calling for unity, one wonders--reasonably enough, I think--if she will be soon disciplined; or if she is really echoing his true sentiments.

Pretty stupid thing to say during a recorded interview. Am not really outraged so much as just rolling my eyes. Guessing she is not going to be in her current job for a whole lot longer.

But for context:

"The president-elect was able to connect with people over this sense of unity. In the primary, people would mock him, like, “You think you can work with Republicans?” I’m not saying they’re not a bunch of fuckers. Mitch McConnell is terrible. But this sense that you couldn’t wish for that, you couldn’t wish for this bipartisan ideal? He rejected that. From start to finish, he set out with this idea that unity was possible, that together we are stronger, that we, as a country, need healing, and our politics needs that too."

Unity is just another phony soft sell for the media that I recall when Obama first took office. Then when Republicans were literally shut out of the Obamacare legislation the true face of the other Party was revealed.

Remember Pelosi bragging how you will find out what is in it after we vote for it?

Not to worry as Democrats may be busy tearing themselves apart in coming months rather than worry about Republicans.

Nobody cares if you cry, because you _always_ cry. It's your automatic defense mechanism. You can't defend your treason and stupidity, so you turn on those snowflake-tears as a way of deflecting.

If you're crying, we're doing the right thing. That's why you shouldn't turn on the waterworks whenever we get you flustered with facts and reason and morality. Your snowflake-tears confirm that whatever we just did triggered you extra-hard, meaning we should do more of what we just did.
