I don't care for the Islamic state in Iran, but, to be fair, they are vaccinating their people with vaccines from Russia. Those vaccine have tested just as effective as US-made vaccines.

They are not vaccinating their people. The vaccines which they have important are very few and not enough even for vaccinating the medical staff. Aside from politicians and their gangs, no one has been vaccinated yet.

I think they're behind the US, time-wise, but it sounds as though their vaccine rollout is well underway.

Natural herd immunity may kick in before their September target for getting half the people vaccinated.
80% of the people getting COVID are not even going to know they have it.
That means that you can expect that about 10 million Iranians are already naturally immune for some period of time.
Lock downs just slow the process and defeat herd immunity. Everyone 50 & under should never have locked down.

We are talking about Iran. It's not as if we actually know the extent of their lock downs. A lying MSM as a source does not give me any confidence in the information we get.
Certainly the White House is not able to tell the truth under The Resident.
