Oh...my...god. Woooow. I've never heard of anything like THIS (http://www.ibtimes.com/xbox-one-users-must-waive-right-class-action-suits-against-microsoft-experts-weigh-1306797) before in my whole life! Little did you know that buying a game system to reduce your rights as a citizen!

I've been a gamer for a really long time folks (decades), but this move is a new one on me.

Arbitration agreements are common. Some are honored by courts, some are not.

I suppose this will be tested as well. I have mixed feelings about class action lawsuits. The class members tend to get little compensation while the lawyers representing the class make millions. But then again, as the article points out, many people couldn't afford to sue on their own.

Get the PS4. It's more supportive of owner rights (e.g. used games and offline play). It costs $100 less. And, it's more powerful.
