We have rain falling at a rate of 2 to 3 inches per hour, going on three days nows, I'm starting to believe I live in Bangladesh! No fireworks for us.

Florida Panhandle.

When it hits 40 days, raise an alarm!

Sunny here, hot, yardwork to do...

I have an excuse to do nothing. I have to make a salad for dinner but that's the extent of my responsibilities.

I'll knock off early, drink iced tea and watch a movie.

Well you could be here in Arizona where it is 118 degrees. Hot! That's not hot, been there and doesn't compare with the Carolinas. Put humidity in it and then lets talk about hot.

You are right, I would rather have dry heat then humidity. I use to live in CT and summers were horrible with humidity. However, its suppose to be monsoon season and we are getting some humidity.
