This has really become a major issue over the last 5-6 years, huh? I expect a series of new laws and a few examples to be made.

Yeah, it seems like it should be harder to hack stuff now than in the past, right? I mean there's got to be more security now. For whatever reason it seems it has become a lot more common.

Either that or they are just going after bigger targets.

If the hackers knew what they were doing, and if they don't get cocky, there will be no way to catch them.

I can certainly see why the powers-that-be want to catch the people who put the turd in their punch bowl. No more using man-made GW as a reason for more global government and transfers of wealth.
