I've been listening to Latino/Hispanic/TexMex artists all evening (pardon me if I didn't use the right PC terminology; I have trouble keeping up with PC so to hell with it)......

The highlights of what I was listening to:

Los Lonely Boys - Heaven
These guys were sooooo good, 3 brothers with the most fantastic harmonies, and some great guitar work - - too bad they faded out.....

Selena - Como la Flor
What a fantastic voice she had! Cut down too soon ~ ~

Santana - Samba Pa Ti
In my opinion, the most heartfelt song Carlos Santana ever did~ ~ just beautiful! He doesn't play the guitar....it sings to him....

Malo - Suavecito
Jorge Santana, Carlos' younger brother, had a short-lived group....this was their biggest hit....loved it, so mellow ~ ~

And finally, the young man who broke ground for many of the pop artists of Hispanic ancestry who followed:
Ritchie Valens - La Bamba

I saw Los Lonely Boys on a late night talk show once and I asked the girl I was with who they were because it was a sweet song and now I can't remember what it is but I think it might be this one...
