I don't get the fad obsession with bacon.
It's ok. Not fantastic, not bad - just ok.
I don't like it on sandwiches or in other foods because bacon can be stringy or chewy if not cooked right and most people don't cook it right. It needs to be almost simmered in it's own fat for a long period of time. I cover mine with a glass lid.

I raise heritage pigs. Best bacon and pork there is.
