That's really strange. I thought all American companies were prohibited from doing any business with Iran. They can get their food from elsewhere.

Ah, the Reuters article mentioned them being U.S. but you're right, they all play it like that. Multinational and answerable to none!

Well allowing them to pay fines or monetary compensation is not a deterrant. Or doesn't seem to work. Wouldn't you say International Law is highly influenced by Europeans? Meaning moreso than others.

Yes, partly because Europeans are more into this whole one-world philosophy. Americans are more likely to remain independent. Fines mean nothing when the profits far outweigh the penalty. We see that in business here in this country every day.

Our elite are kind of into this one world nonsense too. It's just harder for them to speak of it openly.

I hear the Iranians are big Tea Drinkers too. So now these guys are going to be wound up not having that fix.

Aren't they still trading with the Russians, Chinese, and Indians?

That ought to cover the tea supply.

Thanks MMC. It follows that with fewer suppliers, prices will rise. Additionally the value of their currency has been plummeting. I guess it depends how badly they want their caffeine fix.
