Disabled vets and working age military retirees to get cuts in benefits (http://freebeacon.com/disabled-military-retirees-not-exempt-from-pension-cuts-in-budget-deal/).

The cuts will be to the Cost of Living Adjustment and will eventually amount to 1% per year.

I never figured that the US government would allow me to keep mine.

Did I read that Military Spending actually increased? Jesus. China already warned USA about reducing spending to get structural debt problems under control after the US credit downgrade. For USA to ignore the world and pass this budget should be the last straw and I would think for many governments it will be.

1% doesnt sound like much too worry about for the veterans but why cut that? There would be heaps to cut. Bring home troops from Asia Pacific for example.

Much as i disagree with the spending increases, we don't bow to China. Who gives a rat's ass what they "demand"?

It's not the first time Democrats pushed to stick it to the vets. We're a relatively small voting block compared to entitlement program recipients.

Plus not many of them are vets themselves:

I don't know what the current breakdown of the budget is for FY2014, but it probably is close to this:

It must be hell to live in a country like Germ where you have to bow down and do what every other nation tells you to do.

We all know that he worships China and longs for that total control over his life. but he just can't understand freedom!

All federal spending is increasing. It just isn't growing as fast as planned originally. It is called base line budgeting, and if it was done in the private sector people would go to jail.
