View Full Version : Glenn Beck equates the Norway Camp with Hitler Youth

"Beck, on his radio show, declared the killings "the work of a madman" and called the suspect "as bad as Osama bin Laden." But before launching into that condemnation, he questioned what the victims were doing at a summer camp run by Norway's ruling Labour Party.

Beck said the camp "sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler Youth or whatever. Who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."

However, politically-oriented camps are being organized in several U.S. states by chapters of the "9/12 Project" -- an organization founded by Beck himself in 2009."

:o :o :o

Beck is insane. Also, I don't see anything wrong with teenagers being interested in politics. Sure, brainwashing little children is creepy, but this isn't really relevant is it?

This just seems like Young Republicans / Young Democrats to me.

Maybe Beck is aiming to become a 'shock-jock' like Howard Stern used to be. :D

The camp was kind of weird. I've seen pics with members carrying Palestinian flags. There was definitely something creepy about that camp.

Palestinian flags ??? weird...I did read something about Norway recently recognizing Palestine so perhaps it is related.

I don't know all that much about it but the camp dioes seem a little creepy. A variety of left wing causes seem to have been embraced there.

I was looking for the pics I saw on Google but they aren't there. Someone posted them at PH.

That sort of indoctrination when it involves children is a little creepy, IMO.

I don't have a problem with teenagers being interested in politics and attending a camp (assuming they're doing it because they want to, not from parents' pressure). We had stuff like that in high school.

To me, this tea party camp targeting 8 - 12 year olds is way creepier: http://theweek.com/article/index/216425/tea-party-summer-camp-indoctrination-for-kids

I don't have a problem with it either. I just think it's a little creepy for kids to be engaged in radical causes especially when they have no impact on the lives of those kids whatsoever. Yeah, the tea party camp is a little creepy too.

Yeah the connection to Palestine is weird. Teens can be idealistic and easily manipulated.

I feel there should be a video from MMC posted in this thread. It would involve young American men of African descent discussing the intricacies of possessing significant quantities of currency and the various advantages that said currency can provide. 8)
