Since we all believe that businesses should be forced to hire people they don't want to hire shouldn't we force people to date those of different races or against our gender preference to be fair?

Just as everyone needs a job, everyone needs love.

State arranged dating.....(*evil government evolution and family planning magic*)...marriages?

If it were to ever happen. I suspect there would be people out there who would gleefully kill over this.

Telling a man whom his son/daughter will date and marry, regardless of her/his desires?

Yeah, that will pan out well...

As a fat, old, ugly person, I say YES.

All cute young hunky guys should be forced to date me!

That's how it would work under Marxism which seems to be where we're headed.

I'm in the fat old ugly boat too. Plus I don't have two nickels to rub together. I feel special.

I'm really not superficial whatsoever, but you have to at least register as a 5(average on my scale) physically. Their has to be something there. A relationship isn't just passion and attraction, but a good amount of it is.

No.

Nobody should be forced to date a British person.

Right. And outside of medical conditions, if someone lets themselves go they have other issues that will hamper a healthy relationship.

I agree with this, and like you say, medical conditions don't count. Laziness, however.....

Of course, I also don't think companies should be forced to hire people they don't want

I could be in Walmart, the park, ballgame, wherever and see some huge, goofy looking ugly person and think "somebody somewhere is hitting that and having a good time at it".

... and so what?

I'm quite handsome, but "hunky" is a word I associate with bulky lads.

Is dating love?

Maybe, maybe not.

It's a civil right to date unhindered by race, gender, etcetera since we all have the right to happiness and love. The government should enforce this right, after all if we have a right to a cake we ought to have a right to something significantly more important.
