We've decided to bake a chicken and dressing, cranberry Sauce, deviled eggs, green beans, burp! And Easter Candy for dessert.

Sounds great!

I am in New Orleans, so I will find something appropriate for Easter!

I do. Not cajun, but when my late flight got me here I had red beans and rice at midnight.

Sorry, but I make them better.

We are having Cornish game hens. With mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing. Served with a veggie.
Would share with a hungry person.

Well, it sounds like dinner in NOLA is going to be interesting.

I lived in Baton Rouge and Gonzales, they make the world's best sausage out there, and I love the creole!

We get our hams and kolbassi from one of two places, Willies Smoke House in Slippery Rock, PA or George Cheplic's in Finleyville PA.

And smoked bacon, and jerkey.

Cheplic's has the better kolbassi but Willies has the better ham. All Willies this weekend though.

Polish deli in Linden NJ always smells like heaven this time of year. Smoked pork products everywhere...

That's what these meat markets are like that I go to, they smoke their own stuff.

It's all in the eating!

Kiełbasa, kołbasa, klobasa, kobasa, kolbasi, kovbasa, kobasi, and kubasa are common North American anglicizations for a type of Central and Eastern European sausage.

No one special in your life? Care to have one or happy eating alone?

Turkey breast, taters, gravy, cornbread casserole, homemade rolls, and homemade peanut butter eggs. Then the pleasure of traveling 6 hours back home in the car with the spouse and brood!

Me, me, me, please. Not hungry, but Easter is banned where I am, so it was the usual pork soup for Easter Sunday lunch.

Last night on the local liberal news Sally called Easter....... Egg Day.

Not even allowed a mention here and Christmas becomes a 'Yuletide festival'. May day is a few days 'workers' holiday and that's celebrated.

I remember as a kid our parents making coloured Easter eggs. Wrap them in onion skins held on with cotton and then hard boiled. They come out looking like

You would then bang it against someone else's and the winner was the one who's egg didn't break. Happy memories.

I'd be SO tempted to slip in a raw one when it was time to crack them on someone's head.

Be careful what you wish for. Crack an egg on some heads and a liberal falls out
