I consider myself a Nationalist and a libertarian. When I think back the Nam era I see a kinship if you will. Another war fought by our young men for nothing. I'm not out protesting and I'm still signed up for the draft, BUT if I had my way I'd carpet bomb the hell out of the middle east and then go in and take their oil. I'm really tired of all the shit going on there.

I don't advocate violence of any kind but it is time to shit or get off the pot.!! get the hell out of there or take complete controll of the god forsaken rock pit.

Not really, difference is that the hippies are now eco fruits while I still think that we should defend our borders and stay the hell out of other peoples business. 4 dead in Ohio may come back around sooner than you think, just a different place.

I know how you feel Ramone.....but this Aristocracy in this country knows there is only one answer when all refuse to do nothing. Which is violence. I grew up on the streets of Chicago. I have lived around Demos all my life including a whole side of my family all involved in it. That would be that Irish side. Now the Sicillian side well we were like on the other sides of the track. Know what I mean.

Which is why the aristocrats are passing laws to help keep them safe when the shit hits the fan. Both of us have served in that time. We have been here before.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miZWYmxr8XE

They told us back then, yet even then doing as you say leaves us back here at home and with these same domestic issues. The only difference back from then and now. Back then the Country wasn't completely divided. Today it is, and it's only going to get worse. Which is why I have always said. Even tho I am Veteran. The Oath I took Never Ends. Not until I become part of that dirt again.

Others may want to give up their rights and their Country. But then there is always the Counter. Those who will die to protect them!

But we didn't carpet bomb. And we didn't take their oil.

China got most of the Iraqi oil contracts.

If we weren't so focused on the oil game, we'd be alot more advanced in our efforts to make our own energy game. We let them control us to an extent by coveting their resources.

Therein lies the deception Spunk.....we get our Oil from Canada. The vast majority of it. So now how do we let them control us when it is a fact that we don't covet such a resource from them.

No more than the rest of the sands who are trying to kill us. We are at war with these people, make no mistake about it. We need to get the hell out of there and protect our borders, the money would be much better spent.

People like you spunk are the problem, you want to solve problems that can't be solved. The sands have been killing each other for years, do you think we can force a democracy on them that they don't even want. Tell me, what the hell are we doing there to start with? Please do because I'm at a loss for the reasoning that we should be there pushing our will on somebody else. Reminds me of a Jehova at my front door. It's bullshit is what it is.

"libertarian vs hippie"

Actually during the late 60s Rothbard actively sought an alliance with the "hippies" with the common ground both were anti-state. It went nowhere, he gave it up quickly. I think what he discovered was a bottom-line difference between anarchocapitalism, which is based on private property, and he favored, and anarchosocialism, which would abolish private property. I remember attending protests in Chicago, after the 68 Convention, and saw the same thing, behind most of it were socialist agitators. And the negativity toward soldiers was completely misplaced. Don't follow leaders, watch the parking meters.

Presidents have almost no power domestically, particularly when their party is not in control of Congress. Foreign policy is where Presidents make names for themselves. Geopolitics forces presidents to follow particular paths regardless of party. It is no wonder than Obama continued Bush's foreign policy. It is the natural result of wielding the power of the US presidency.
