I'm using Google Chrome and IE Explorer on this awful laptop.

1. I tried turning off autocorrect on spelling and it still corrects my "English". I don't want to speak American. I want to type English. Is there a place to choose language preference within the software, or should I choose a different browser?
2. I have to refresh to fix a post. I can't just immediately edit.
3. If I use the @ to call out a poster it ruins the format of the post.
4. Every so often the "What's New" is erased and I see none of my subscribed threads.
5. Quoting from a cut and paste loses all format.

Who is the mod in charge of technical issues that I can work with?

1. For your language issues. Go to settings in Chrome - Advanced settings and choose Languages - Language and Input settings. Then choose English, rather than the default English (US).
2. I don't have the refresh issue in Chrome, only in I.E.
3. I've never had the @ issue.
4. I've had the What's New issue, but haven't found a solution.
5. Haven't had that issue either.

For Google Chrome:

Go to Settings, on that page click Show advanced settings..., from there scroll down to Languages, click a button labeled Language and input settings..., and at the bottom uncheck the checkbox for Enable spell checking.

In that dialog is also an Add button, that allows you to select English (United kingdom).

5. Quoting from a cut and paste loses all format.I've had that problem several times as well...I quit using chrome.

Mostly use firefox now and occasionally IE, still happens every once in a while but no where near as often.

I get the cut and paste problem with every browser I use and the @ problem.

I use Firefox and don't have any of these issues.

I also keep my Firefox plain, basic and fairly secure. It's not hijacked to death and full of junk add-ons.

Maybe it's simply a reflection of you if you think about it.
