Doubtful. All their militarization ups the ante when they no-knock raid houses people shoot them like intruders. Not really hard to grasp. This is why it doesn't show assassination.

Escalation of violence leads to violence.

Violent crimes are going down all over the country, but cops being killed in the line of duty goes up proportionate to them escalating 3 am raids. Hmmmm. Not a toughie.

The community is still coming to terms with their tragic deaths.

This week, thousands attended a vigil to mourn the officers, who both leave behind wives and young children. The crowd gathered outside the restaurant where the officers were murdered.

“They are some amazing people and to know they were intentionally gunned down, I’m having a hard time grasping it,” said Amber Ayers of Las Vegas.

Two guys shot down on duty. Yeah, kind of a bummer. I might care more if they cared more about my rights though.

It's cold, but I see this as two less mindless drones violating my natural rights. Did they deserve it? Probably not. Do people deserve to have their rights routinely violated by those whose job it is to defend and protect them? Definitely not.

Rejoicing in death is foolish. But basking in ignorance is equally foolish.
