Posting Videos and/or pics

Could someone suggest a site with instructions on how to post videos and pics. I have tried copy & paste (the extent of my ability) and it doesn't work. thanx.

Most You tube videos can just be linked directly.

For pictures, I use the Go Advanced button and manage attachments from there.

Some small pics, like a chart of something inside a news article can typically be cut and pasted the same way that text is.

Yes, youtube videos are easiest. Just get the video to play at youtube.com, then copy the URL (circled in red) ...

...and then paste it into the editor...

...to get...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KchcFhrMtls

Vimeo videos is similar. Again, get it to play at vimeo.com, copy the url (circled in red)...

...then in the editor, click the video button to pop up a dialog where you paste the copied url...

...and click OK to get this in the editor...

Note (something I just noticed!) that the dialog box lists supported video formats:

That link goes to a list of videos.

Select one. Then make sure the url says youtube.com. The one I selected goes to yahoo somewhere:

See the youtube icon in the lower right, circled in red, click on that to go to youtube.com...

That URL you can just paste in.
